The last lecture had me in tears, it was so poignant... He truly was an inspirational speaker, teacher and lecturer. It's about how you lead your life indeed.

Thank you for this Ellen. I find Pausch to be inspirational. Some say as a presenter he is a little 'showy'. But in the context of where he was at the time in his life, how many other presenters could be so open and objective about things? I'm not sure I could summon up that strength and be so upfront about things. He is regarded by many as an excellent example for a number of reasons and I feel we should all be aware of Randy Pausch's work. The man is a legend. His talk on time management is also very good, again you can find it on YouTube. Thanks.

I like your feedback too Christian. Measured and thoughtful. Students at Carnegie and those who wish to be educated are all the poorer for his passing. I am grateful for You Tube and the TED site (now on the useful weblinks part of this blog) so we can watch such interesting deliveries.
